Apr. 13th, 2015 01:31 amTo all appearances, Daxter is an ordinary college freshman. He's an orphan and grew up in foster care, went to public school, was picked on, and got himself in trouble a lot. Being that he's scrawny, has an overbite, and can be considered pretty obnoxious, he's not grown up to be the most popular guy. He's roommies and best friends with a jock that has a good heart named Jak, and gets average grades at best, and has no clue what he wants for his future.
What sets him a little apart from the average person is that he is also an Ottsel. He can turn into a small orange furball when he wants to or when he takes a bad hit. This is because of a hereditary trait from way before the world he grew up in. From a time of heroes and gods and spirits were something you saw a lot. Not that he's a hero. He's just short of a coward.
